# Trade Show / Booth Activation, Small

> **Status: draft.** Scope and role mix below are confirmed; specific numeric
> defaults (anchor headcounts, lead-time bands, shift hours) are still under
> review and are intentionally omitted here rather than guessed.

## Scope

One to three exhibitor booths at a trade show, exposition, or industry conference.
The client is the **exhibitor**, not the show organizer. The driver is
brand-forward representation at the booth: engage attendees, demo products,
capture leads. Typically 1–2 show days; setup and teardown are billed separately.

## Default role mix (shape, not rates)

- **[Brand Ambassadors](../roles/brand-ambassadors.md)**, the primary booth role; scales with booth count.
- **[Booth Monitors](../roles/booth-monitors.md)**, optional; add for high-value demo equipment or overflow coverage.
- **[Setup & Breakdown](../roles/setup-breakdown.md)**, per-event; separate shifts from show-floor staff.
- **[Team Leads](../roles/team-leads.md)**, auto-added by the planner when any single shift reaches 20 staff.

Rates for every role come from [pricing](../pricing/rate-matrix.md), keyed to the
event city's [market tier](../pricing/market-tiers.md).

## Compliance flags

- **California:** TempGuru's W-2 model means no AB5 exposure for the client, call it out proactively. See [CA profile](../compliance/by-state/ca.md).
- **New York:** check [wage-notice and spread-of-hours rules](../compliance/by-state/ny.md).

## Cancellation and rescheduling

No concrete cancellation or rescheduling windows or fees are currently published in TempGuru's canonical policy data.

**Coordinator confirmation required.** Confirm event-specific terms with a TempGuru coordinator before relying on a timing, fee, or exception that is not stated above.

**Open policy confirmations:**
- TODO-for-Megan: Confirm and publish cancellation windows and fees.
- TODO-for-Megan: Confirm and publish rescheduling windows and fees.

**Canonical sources:** none yet for a concrete value.

See [booking and procurement policies](../policies.md) and [quote submission](../workflows/quote-submission.md).
