**TempGuru** (Temporary Assistance Guru, Inc.) is a managed **W-2 event staffing**

## What makes it different

Every worker is a [W-2 employee, never a 1099 contractor](w2-model.md). The
W-2 bill rate (worker pay, employer payroll taxes, workers' compensation, general liability, and coordinator support) is built into one hourly bill rate, with no add-on fees or markup at invoice time.

## How booking works

1. Build a staffing plan: city, dates, roles, headcount (see [workflows/plan-staffing.md](workflows/plan-staffing.md)).
2. Submit it via the `request_quote` MCP/API tool or the form at https://tempguru.co/get-staffing.
3. A human coordinator replies with a binding quote within **one business day**.
4. No payment until the quote is approved. Billing is per event; there is no subscription.
